The Regional Director of Sales and Marketing manages the sales process for a group of communities in an assigned region, ensuring that company sales goals are met. In cooperation with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, they work with the Regional Directors of Operations, Executive Directors and Community Relations Directors to develop and execute on sales and marketing plans with the goal of optimizing revenue through occupancy and rate management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Accountable for oversight of the sales process with the goal of maintaining or improving upon the occupancy level of the community.

· Achieving or exceeding budgeted revenue, specifically via occupancy and rate management, including managing incentive strategies as necessary.

· Assures competitive shops / market analysis are accurate and reported on time and conducts competitive shops as needed. Makes recommendations and develops strategy for each community’s market position based on competitive analysis.

· Aids in the development (and execution) of sales and marketing plans with on site community teams and Regional Director of Operations.

· Monitors Community Relations Directors to determine effectiveness of implementation of strategies and tactics.

· Monitors CRM database to ensure it is accurate and viable.

· Reports progress of goals and trends to Community Relations Directors, Executive Directors, VP of Sales and Marketing, Senior Leadership team and / or other stakeholders.

· Compiles and uses report data to monitor progress and set weekly goals to achieve success.

· Develops and maintains relationships with local referral agencies to leverage referrals across the region.

· Coaches and trains new Community Relations Directors and Executive Directors on sales and marketing tasks, both assisting during the initial onboarding and providing continued coaching to advance their skillsets.

· Encourages a sales culture within the communities.

· Assures compliance with corporate brand standards, monitoring marketing materials and collateral used at communities.

· Other tasks or duties as assigned by management.

Corporate Representative:

· Represents Cogir to community staff.

· Represents Cogir throughout region in market areas where communities are located. Attends local, national and regional networking events.

· Assists in recruiting new CRDs and works with Regional Director of Operations, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and key community staff in hiring decisions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Candidates are required to be vaccinated or complete COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business or equivalent from an accredited college or university is preferred.

· Minimum of five to seven years sales and /or sales management experience.

· Combination of education or experience in the retirement, medical or pharmaceutical sales is preferred.

· Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, promoting and selling products or services to include marketing principles and methods for showing, and selling products.

· Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
